Being married to a Law Enforcement Officer is a career in and of itself. Just like being a peace officer, it takes a special person to make the grade.

Our duties call us away from birthday parties, holidays, family events and numerous other times that are special to our families.

We realize that you worry whether we will return home safely at the end of our shift. You make sure we go to work with an uncluttered mind and a full stomach. That's just part of how you help to keep us safe on the job. You make sure we have a hot meal and a warm bed when we get home late, hungry and tired. That's love. Sometimes we don't remember to express our appreciation for the love you give us. Sometimes we're just unthoughtfull or preoccupied, but we hope you always know that we do appreciate and love you.

We know that you support us in our efforts of making our communities and highways a safer place to be.

We want all our spouses and loved ones to know that we love you and we appreciate all of the sacrifices you have made with us, and for us.
