Marijuana Crops in Utah

This hidden crop of marijuana is just one of the illegal drug operations discovered and destroyed by the Utah DPS. It was in the town of Liberty, Utah.

In September 1999, agents from the Utah Department of Public Safety,  Criminal Investigations Bureau, seized this extremely large crop of marijuana.

There were over 8,000 marijuana plants seized from this crop. Many of the plants were in excess of 6 feet tall and had an illegal street value of $1,000.00 per plant.

Let's see, ...eight thousand times a thousand...$8,000,000.00 in illegal drugs off the streets in one DPS operation !
