Utah Trooper Delivers Baby on I-215

Utah Troopers quickly learn that "routine days" do not exist. Trooper Burbank learned this lesson on January 07, 2001, at 5:30 am, when he delivered a baby on the side of the freeway.

Utah Troopers are trained and certified as Emergency Medical Technicians. This program is relatively new to the Utah Highway Patrol and it has paid huge dividends to the public and to the Troopers.
