Meet our new 2nd Vice President
I am Charity Thomas and I am very excited to be the Utah Highway Patrol Association's second Vice President. I am honored to accept this nomination. I will do everything I can to promote the interests and protect the rights of all members and their families both publicly and professionally. I look forward to getting to know you all better over the next few years in the Association.
I am an organizer. I have organized many events as my section’s Public Information and Education Officer, such as, Adopt A High School, Health Fairs and numerous interagency workshops, specifically, distracted driving and road safety classes.
I have lots of energy. I approach everything I do with enthusiasm. Some people call me feisty because I am passionate about what we do as Troopers and as a UHPA board.
I have experience working on the board and I am a voice for my section. I understand how the board works and I fulfill my responsibilities as a board member. I have earned the trust of my section members and members of the board and I am able to collaborate with my peers at all levels.
I worked for Cache County Sheriff's Office for 6 months. I started with them in May 2012 and joined the UHP in November 2012.
I have two awesome kids. Sidney is 14 going into her first year of high school and Michael is 13 going into 8th grade.
I was born and raised in American Fork. My family and I love to call the Basin home now. Please let me know if I can help or address any problems that you're aware of.
